Maintaining service continuity becomes harder as IoT deployments expand across operators and regions. Connectivity often depends on networks outside the enterprise’s control. In this session, Telit Cinterion’s Adam Cousin will examine why traditional roaming models can fall short as 2G and 3G networks sunset and teams evaluate LTE Cat 1 bis alongside 5G eRedCap. He will discuss how adaptive eSIM technology and automated failover can help reduce risk when coverage shifts or networks go down. He’ll also look beyond the module itself to the antenna decisions that shape real-world performance, particularly in small devices that need multiband coverage. The session will show why scalable IoT design requires a more tailored approach to connectivity and hardware.
